Meet the Team: Asghar Molu

In July 2024, Asghar was appointed into the Chief Marketing Officer, Ontario Region role. He is responsible for the overall management of HUB Ontario Region’s local insurer relationships, enhancing and maximizing growth and profitability with insurance carriers, and ensuring HUB and its carrier partners meet their mutual business goals. In addition, Asghar and his team support HUB’s business objectives through development of leading-edge insurance products/ programs, providing marketing support to win new business opportunities, and implementing initiatives that enhance insurer partner relationships.

Prior to his current role, Asghar joined HUB as Executive Vice President, Personal Insurance, in 2022. In that role, he managed three personal insurance businesses — Group/Affinity, Private Client Group for affluent clientele, and Retail Home & Auto — across 10 offices in Ontario.

Prior to HUB, Asghar was at Intact Insurance in various progressing roles, spending time in leadership roles within Marketing and Communications, Sales Analytics and Personal and Commercial Insurance practices over a 15+ year tenure.
