Meet the Team: Jennifer Barker

Jennifer Barker is the Chief People Officer for Ontario and Hub Atlantic, a role she has held since 2022. She brings a strategic, solutions-oriented approach to people leadership, with a proven ability to drive business results through effective human resources strategies.

Prior to her current role, Jennifer served as Vice President of Human Resources at NFP Canada, a leading insurance broker and consultant. She also held the position of Vice President of People and Change at RSA, where she led HR-business integration and championed RSA’s People Strategy across the organization. Before entering the insurance industry 12 years ago, she held HR leadership positions at KPMG and ADP.

Jennifer is recognized for her strong business acumen, strategic mindset, and collaborative leadership style. She excels at transforming challenges into opportunities and creating consistent, high-quality employee experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Western Ontario and a post graduate certification of Human Resources Management.
